It's a warm, sunny morning in July; the familiar scent of pine trees and thin air burn your nostrils. You and your bike are floating effortlessly above the trees, birds, and trails below. Is this just another one of those flying dreams? No, you're riding the chairlift on your way up to the top of the mountain, barely able to sit still knowing that you'll soon be screaming down the trail; the trees just a blur in your wake.

After you unload your bike from the chairlift, you make your way to your favorite run. The sign at the trailhead has a black diamond icon on it along with warnings about "extreme terrain" and "expert riders only". You ride past the sign, barely aware of its existence since you've seen it so many times. You make sure your helmet's buckled, your goggles are in place, and you give your front fork a couple of cautionary pumps before you pedal down the hill. You think about that gnarly rock drop a few turns ahead…and then there's the big gap jump after that.

Oh, and the root section…that twisted, snake pit-like excuse for a trail. Mere mortals would shudder at the thought of riding their bike down these obstacles…you think about them and smile, pedaling faster with anticipation. After all, you've got the skills, and you're riding the right equipment.

From our .357 downhill machines to the versatile Extreme series, we've got a bike ready to take you off the bunny slope and on to bigger, better places no cross-country bike would dare go.
