Slaughterama

So I\'ve heard about this event for a couple of years now called Slaughterama. It\'s a 4 day long event in Richmond,VA celebrating all things bicycle. I took the drive up on Saturday to check it out for the first time ever, and boy am I glad that I did. It was a WILD scene. Every type of bike you could imagine was there , with every type of person riding them, dressed (and undressed) in every type of possible way. The highlight of the day were the events like the Chicken race (it\'s like when you have a chicken fight in the pool, but instead you are racing a bike), whiplash (kind of like tug-o-war, but on bike, and with speed), and the tall bike joust (double tall bikes with sticks to hit each other with).

Hats off to the organizers and all that participated, because this was an amazing event. If you happen to be around Richmond when this is going on, do not hesitate to check it out. The people watching was amazing! You will not be disappointed.
