Cleveland Dew Tour
07.20.08 -- By Mackay
Well I wasn't going to go to this stop but I did. I sprained my knee in Germany 10 days before Dew and
I decided I was going there and to ride the day of my flight. I got a bad knee brace from the shop and had the fluid in my knee drained one more time. I skipped the first day of practice for dirt and park and figured Id get through dirt first. I just got to the point were I might roll around a Skate park and here I was at Dew tour were you really have to be ready to send it. I had a run in mind and I didnt get it first run because I cased a set. 2nd run was alright just wanted to get something in the bag.
The next morning I had Park and I rode really mellow and didn't take any chances. I got through without injuring my knee more and I'm happy for that.I'm going to chill another week to heal it up.
Nyquist had a comfotable skip prelims pass and did fairly well in Dirt final to take 3rd. Dennis has had some injury's too, firstly his shoulder popped in Germany than his hip had trouble last week. He got one amazing run off in dirt to move from 9th to 5th real quick. Old/ New addition Rob Darden has been on a mission lately and spun 7's comfortably mid set to get 7th.
I left early but Park is on today.
If you live around a Dew Stop you should check it out, its worth it.
