I’m 42 and have only really rode beach cruisers for the past 25 years. I love my Haro Downtown 26! It’s brings me back to my BMX days as a kid, yet fits me at 6’1” and is easy to ride. Light and quick with easy gearing at 25/10. The brakes took a lot of adjusting to make work and feel better. I wish they just had the 78 brakes to go with the lever, the springhanger system would be better for a bike this size. The Kenda tires are great, have great bounce for soft landings and a smooth ride. The grips are soft, I was going to replace but will wait until they wear down now. I did upgrade the pedals to Odyssey Grandstand Alloys, I would’ve gone with the Haro Lineage if they didn’t cost 2x and they’re not in stock at City Grounds when I purchased the bike. Anyway, I highly recommend the Downtown 26 for taller and or older riders, it’ll remind you of when you just rode to ride, maybe go find a few jumps near or far, go for 10 minutes or 2 hours, just a fun ride.
