The Shift I/O 7 features our new 160mm travel 4-Bar linkage frame, with its up-to-date geometry, coupled with a Rockshox suspension package including a Yari RC 29" Boost fork and a Super Deluxe Select R Trunnion air shock for solid Enduro-type 160mm front and rear suspension. Its internal 630Wh down tube battery supplies power to the new Shimano EP-800 motor, which features increased torque (85Nm) at lower RPMs, a smaller size and a quieter function. The Shift I/O 7 features two different wheel sizes (for M to XL-sized frames) with a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel to get the best of both worlds for an unmatched riding feel. With its new Shimano XT and SLX 12-speed components, the Shift I/O 7 allows for smooth, powerful rides up or down the hills with a wide-range gear ratio to save battery life when needed and precise, crisp shifting.

Better than twice the price

No more horrible suffering!
Eats hills and flies down them. Mods include carb bar carb seat 40mm stem (cool ano camo) NEVAGAL! what a great tire combo. Have gone 60 mi on a charge. And the brakes....they are still perfect after 500 mi. Not Shimano, as on the site, but TRP, Slate with 203 rotor and added thickness. So Cal hills are the toughest anywhere around here. Practically effortless to ride anywhere. I am 70 yrs . I ride really tough conditions, from the beach bluff to the desert, and every thing between. The Factory support is top notch. This Awesome machine has far exceeded my expectations.

Fantastic bike for the value

Love the MX-style wheels with the 29" front and 27.5" rear. The EP-800 motor is a blast especially with a high Trail mode set-up, the Rockshox suspension platform works great, the rear shock setting is adapted to the e-bike weight and the Shimano XT / SLX 12-speed drive train with the reinforced KMC chain works great. The 630Wh battery is great for longer rides...I have now more than 600 miles on the Shift I/O 7 and had no issue at all. I really love that bike and just updated it with a new Rockshox Domain 38 fork: Perfect...
