I've had this bike a little over a year now. We have 2 - a Small and a Med.
Use mainly for sight seeing city rides on improved nature trails with hills and longer distances, but also easy hilly soil trails with roots - but i chose to convert to a mtn tire for roots. husband kept kendra's for less resistance.
Loves
the articulating stem to accommodate more riders
it's offered in S/M/L - I am a shorter and some big name bike retailers are OSFA on uprights
electric assist is quiet and smooth
mid-drive
splash guards
battery life
it's a class 1 so allowed most anywhere
I chose this bike specifically because it offered a cruiser-style upright, curved handlebar but also had forks for comfort with city bumps & easy soil trails (i.e. state parks) - a lot of major brand cruiser e-bikes have rigid forks and, likewise, many ebikes from major brands w/ forks only had more aggressive posture than i wanted for this purpose
Dislikes
the small black fasteners that attach the silver rod for the mud/splash guards have broken on one of our bikes
the shimano display controller never stays put - drives you bananas - i thought it was the slope of the handlebar but husband said it's made to be that way?! IDK
sometimes it's hard to get the battery in/out of one of the bikes where the other one's not like that
with step-over frame, the rear rack isn't as beneficial as a front rack would be if you prefer to swing your leg around instead of through b/c you can't really swing leg over cargo/basket attachment
I hope Haro continues to make this bike - @Haro seriously - this bike is perfect for a bike enthusiast who wants a well-made bike w/ legit trusted parts but a comfort e-cruiser to have a blast on longer or hilly rides - I wish i had a step-thru but I got mine on sale and they didn't have step thru available. I'm 5'2 and manage the step-over small okay though. I hear Haro might release the next gen 2023's late summer, so I can't wait to see if they made any upgrades (fingers crossed on more torque for steep climbs) or bug-fixes!
