Back in the day, everyone ran 1” threadless, but that’s been a hot minute ago. Now days, 99% of riders are running a frame with an integrated head tube, which means drop-in/press-in style bearings. Even though they’re sealed, make sure you’re still using a bit of grease in that integrated cup when you’re installing new bearings; they’ll last way longer.
