Our little man is 28 months old, and in the 1-3 percentile for height/weight, he's a tiny dude! This balance bike is perfect for him, and we couldn't be more pleased with the performance, and value of this bike for the price point. You really can't beat this!
We looked at all the other uber popular brands, and what kept drawing us back to Haro PreWheelz, considering the small stature of our son, was the extraordinary light weight of this balance bike, and let's be honest, the mag wheels are so rad too!
I can attest, the light weight is legit. We put the seat at the lowest level, and with his shoes on, he can touch the ground, and is able to push this bike with absolute ease, and glides along very easily. He even started taking the bike off the paved path, and onto the grass, and the bike is so light, he was still able to slowly push it along off-road! He has only dumped over sideways twice so far, and the bike is so light, he effortlessly pops back up, and throws himself right back on it.
There are no sharp edges, everything is very well done with the design, and construction, and the bike looks really cool, and he absolutely loves riding it.
Shipped quickly, and assembly was no problem, with tools provided.
Primarily riding on paved paths so far, the tires seem to be holding up nicely. I believe I saw on Haro's site that there are replacement wheels should you ever need one, so that's a plus, though I don't think we will need replacement, but it's good to know the bike won't be bricked if we do thrash on it too hard!
Overall a great product, purchase with confidence!
