About year and a half ago I purchased 2020 Haro r7 29er XL from inkys in San Diego. Shortly after in about 5 months the rear triangle and the rear hub failed. To it back where I purchased it from they said hub is not warranty they can fix it for $50. but the frame is ok no problem they had the bike for 3/4 months finally got it back with the used part and they didn’t fix the rear hub. The shop did not honor service for life they said because I upgraded they will not cover the bike and don’t bring it back. NO Problem u lost my service. Fast forward September 10th 2021 same thin happened same spot. Called Haro directly talked toJohn Webber explained what happened and what’s going on. He said no problem since they are local he said bring it so he can see. Went there he looked at it said yes no problem it was a design flow and they fixed it. He had a new part in stock and he said leave the bike it will be done tomorrow. WOW thanks John. I was very happy with the great service and great bunch of guys at Haro. Again thank you very much l. I love my Haro
This bike is a trail slayer! With such a reasonable price it allows me room for upgrades! Out of the box it is durable, fast, and maneuverable. It climbs well and descends well. I can not wait to swap over to a Shimano drivetrain. It is hard to go to Sram after using Shimano for so many years
Honestly, the reason why I bought this bike because it was the only extra-large mountain bike in Western North Carolina. The price was decent and the ride is awesome. Rolls very nice in the rocks and roots I got this because my other mountain bike (27.5)I won't mention the manufacturer, the frame broke in two places going down a single track trail. It is being replaced by the manufacturer but I needed a bike and I needed one fast. I'm very surprised and impressed with the components and the ride for the price. The only upgrade I did was get new tires and made them tubeless.
